Hi my name is Sylvia, and after being born and growing up in Chile, I settled in Australia in 2006. As a lifelong learner, my previous studies have included theatre, dance and philosophy. However, at the end of 2006 I found my true calling when I commenced studying acupuncture in Brisbane. During my formal studies, I was also fortunate enough to time start working us a deshi ( student) for 5 years with Alan Jansson at the Queensland Sports Medicine Centre (Woolloongabba), and in 2012 I also had the privilege to travel to Japan to study with Masakazu Ikeda Sensei (Traditional Japanese Acupuncture Master).
I am really excited about joining Nadja's clinic and commencing the next stage of my journey as an acupuncturist. I am a strong advocate of the value of acupuncture for the treatment and prevention of a wide range of diseases and musculoskeletal conditions. As a practitioner, I am devoted to continuing to learn and improve my craft, and I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds and age groups, including children and the elderly.
