Dr Nadja Ostro

Doctor of Traditional Chinese medicine - Acupuncture, mind body spirit connection - Specialist in Pre and post natal health care - Empowering and educating people to be in charge of their health and wellbeing

Nadja had her first taste of acupuncture in Sydney as a 16-year-old, where she was transported to a place of bliss and wellbeing. From then she was drawn to the dedicated path of learning and practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Japanese Acupuncture. In 2008, Nadja gained a Bachelor of Health Science and Acupuncture; including completing her internship in South West China in the Guan Xi province. Japanese-style acupuncture particularly drew her in, being much easier to give and receive. Since 2008 Nadja has lived on the Sunshine Coast and developed her own private practise. This thriving practise is now located in Eumundi where she collaborates with a number of like-minded therapists in her beautiful space.

27 years later, Nadja is even more passionate to use TCM to assist people through challenging physical and emotional times. Prevention is so much more effective than cure. Knowing this, Nadja helps to teach people about their constitution, their individual make up, sensitivities and areas of weakness to truly empower them to know when it’s time for treatment, and to learn what modalities can best work for them.

We are here at Nadja’s Family Acupuncture and Natural Therapies to support our local community to increase their wellness with awareness of how to have an ongoing positive impact on their health: mentally, emotionally physically and spiritually.
